Walk-ins are welcome when slots are available. However, we strongly recommend booking in advance — especially for Dr. Sunita (Gynaecology) and Dr. Rohit (Paediatrics), who are usually fully booked by 10 AM. Same-day appointments can be arranged by calling +91 98300 20002 before 9 AM.
Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Sunday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM only. The clinic is closed on major national holidays. Timings for specific doctors may vary — please call ahead to confirm.
General Medicine consultations with Dr. Amitabha Basu: ₹500. Gynaecology (Dr. Sunita Basu): ₹600. Paediatrics (Dr. Rohit Sharma): ₹500. Pathology (Dr. Kavita Gupta) consultations are included with lab test orders. Follow-up visits within 7 days are at 50% concession.
Our in-house pathology lab covers most common panels: CBC, lipid profile, blood sugar (FBS/PP/HbA1c), LFT, KFT, thyroid function (TSH/T3/T4), urine routine, stool examination, and pregnancy tests (urine & serum). Specialised tests are sent to an NABL-accredited partner lab with results within 24 hours.
Routine blood tests (CBC, blood sugar, basic panels): results within 2–3 hours. Lipid profiles and thyroid function: 3–4 hours. Results are shared via WhatsApp as a PDF. Dr. Basu personally calls patients for any values outside the normal range.
Yes, we have an in-house ultrasonography unit for abdominal scans, pelvic scans, and obstetric USG. Availability depends on the radiologist's schedule — we recommend booking the ultrasound at least a day in advance. In many cases, the ultrasound can be done the same day as your consultation.
Dr. Amitabha Basu does home visits for elderly or immobile patients within Salt Lake (Sectors I–III) and parts of Lake Town. Home visit charges are ₹800 within 5 km. Please call before 8 AM to arrange a morning visit, or before 4 PM for an evening visit. Home visits are not available on Sundays.
We accept cashless settlement for Star Health, Niva Bupa, and ICICI Lombard for OPD plans that cover clinic visits. For other insurance providers, we issue detailed receipts for reimbursement claims. Please bring your insurance card and policy number when you visit. Call ahead to confirm your plan is covered.
Absolutely. We believe in honest medicine and will refer you to appropriate specialists whenever needed. Dr. Basu maintains a trusted network of cardiologists, neurologists, orthopedists, and oncologists at leading Kolkata hospitals (AMRI, Fortis, Apollo Gleneagles). Referrals are free and include a detailed note.
After every consultation, you can message the clinic WhatsApp (+91 98300 20002) with follow-up questions about your prescription, side effects, test results, or recovery. We respond the same day during clinic hours. Lab reports and prescriptions are also sent via WhatsApp. This service is free for all patients.
