A family clinic built around one principle — the patient comes first, always.
Dr. Amitabha Basu opened the clinic in 1999 after a decade of hospital practice. He wanted a place where patients could be seen properly — not rushed, not reduced to a file number. A room, a desk, and the conviction that a 20-minute consultation is not a luxury.
By 2004, his wife Dr. Sunita Basu joined, bringing gynaecology and women's health. By 2012, the clinic had expanded to four consultation rooms, a pathology lab, and an ultrasonography unit. The Salt Lake neighbourhood grew; so did the families who walked through our doors.

Every appointment is 15–20 minutes minimum. We don't rush. We don't guess. We examine properly and listen to what the patient says.

Patient records are confidential, stored securely, and never shared without consent. NABH-aligned data practices since 2010.

We prescribe what you need, not what generates a commission. If we can't help you, we refer you to someone who can — and follow up.

Three generations of some families come to us. We know their histories, their habits, their concerns. That continuity is medicine too.

After every visit, you can follow up via WhatsApp with questions about your prescription, test results or recovery. We respond the same day.

Pathology, ECG, and ultrasonography under one roof. Most results available same day. No unnecessary referrals to outside labs.
